After a multi-stage pitch, Schwartz Public Relations was awarded with the PR budget of Braun Audio. The traditional brand returns to the market after 28 years of absence with a reinvention of the timeless LE loudspeakers from 1959. Schwartz PR will now takes over Braun Audio’s corporate and product communications in Germany.
Braun, a company founded in Germany in 1921 and today a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, headquartered in Schwalbach am Taunus, Germany, develops and manufactures a wide range of products that combine technical innovation, reliable quality and unmistakable design. The British company Pure International Ltd., based in Kings Langley, known worldwide for market-leading audio products and DAB radios, is in charge for the development and manufacture of Braun audio products under a license from Procter & Gamble.
After 28 years of absence from the audio market, the reintroduction of Braun Audio marks an exciting turning point and underscores the innovative leadership and high standards of the Braun brand. The reinvention of the LE speakers, originally designed by Dieter Rams in 1959, illustrates his ethos: “Good design is as little design as possible”.
The aim of the cooperation is to plan and accompany the reintroduction of Braun Audio and its positioning in the audio, lifestyle and design sectors in a communicative way. Schwartz PR is responsible for all PR and media measures in Germany and thus contributes to the cult brand regaining its position in the premium sound segment.
“With the addition of Braun Audio to Schwartz PR, we are expanding our consumer electronics portfolio and once again demonstrating our expertise in the audio segment. We are delighted to be able to support the return of the iconic audio brand with our communications work,” said Christoph Schwartz, Managing Director of Schwartz Public Relations.
